Shipping Information

Antique slot machines are among the most challenging items to transport. At Vintage Reels Co., we have developed specialized logistics partnerships to ensure every machine arrives safely.

1. Custom Crating

Every machine is individually assessed and packed in a custom-built wooden crate with foam padding, bubble wrap, and secure strapping. Crates are built to accommodate the machine's specific dimensions and weight distribution. This process alone adds 5-7 business days to the fulfillment timeline.

2. Shipping Partners

We work exclusively with antique-specialty logistics carriers who understand the fragility and historical value of our pieces. Standard freight carriers are not used. All shipments include insurance coverage for the full declared value of the machine.

3. Delivery Timeline

Domestic U.S. deliveries typically require 2-4 weeks from order confirmation to arrival, depending on your location and the machine's availability. International shipping is available on a case-by-case basis and may require additional documentation including customs declarations and import permits.

4. White Glove Installation

For an additional fee, we offer white-glove installation service. Our delivery team will position the machine in your designated location, remove all packaging materials, and perform a basic functionality check. This service is available for most domestic addresses.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on crate dimensions, weight, and delivery address. Final shipping quotes are provided after your inquiry is received. Estimated costs range from $450-$1,200 within the continental United States for standard delivery. White-glove installation adds $200-$400 depending on location and access complexity.

6. Inspection Upon Delivery

Upon delivery, please inspect the crate before signing the carrier's receipt. If visible damage is present, note it on the receipt and contact us within 24 hours with photographs. Claims for damage not noted at delivery may be subject to carrier limitations.
